Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the supply chain management functions well as planning and directing of activities and operations of the business. Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues. Evaluation and reporting on KPI’s. Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly. Maintain supply chain inventory and records. Training of employees. Find cost effective solutions for supply chain processes. Resolve issues that come up (e.g. Delays in delivery, accidents). Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth. Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable Deals. Work closely with the IT department to create effective databases to manage and organize warehouse inventory. Research Partner companies and seek to negotiate best price contracts to increase business revenue. Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects. Conduct thorough risk assessment to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats throughout the supply chain. Staying abreast of trends and developments in the sector and technologies.
